The House of Bread is a Scripture-centered, Spirit-led ministry devoted to nourishing hearts and minds with the Word of God and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our mission is to help people cultivate a personal relationship with Christ through regular devotionals, teaching, worship music, and practical spiritual encouragement. Our tone is both edifying — building up the Body of Christ — and evangelistic, extending an open invitation to believe in Jesus. We welcome seekers, steadfast disciples, pastors, ministers, and all who hunger for truth and peace — including those often labeled “sinners,” for we all fall short of the glory of God. We are committed to creating space for honest conversation around the barriers that may have kept people from joining a congregation, and we aim to assist wherever we can, with grace and compassion.
Our Mission
To point people to Jesus, deepen spiritual life, and build an online community of prayer and worship on multiple platforms including our own private platform. We believe the Bible is living and active, and that the Holy Spirit brings Scripture to life in everyday circumstances. Through focused devotionals and teaching notes, we aim to make the Bible accessible, relevant and transformative.
What We Offer
- Regular devotionals and teaching notes that guide readers through Scripture with reflection.
- Worship music and playlists created for edification, compassionate support, devotion and meditation, with free downloads available for listeners.
- Radio apps and streaming so you can listen on the go, plus curated programs for deeper study and worship.
- Prayer support and community resources to help you grow in faith and connect with others.
Relationship with Bozrah Family Church (Gesinskerk)
We are grateful to walk in fellowship with Bozrah Family Church (Gesinskerk), who provide spiritual oversight and support as we grow. This partnership allows us to extend ministry into areas we are not yet directly involved in — such as access to their prayer line and, beginning February 2026, participation in their Sunday congregation as online participants (The HOB is remote from the location and unable to physically attend.) Together, we seek to serve more fully and faithfully, each according to grace and calling to the utmost best of our abilities.
Our Values
- Scripture First — every message is rooted in the Word of GOD.
- Spirit-Led — we pray for guidance and rely on the Holy Spirit in ministry.
- Hospitality — everyone is welcome; we serve with humility and compassion.
- Practical Discipleship — faith that changes daily life, not just ideas.
